1.3. The Buyer is a natural person with full legal capacity who has reached the age of 18, a minor aged between 14 and 18 acting with the consent of their parents or guardians, or a legal entity or its representative.

1.4. By placing an order, the Buyer confirms having read and understood these Terms and agrees to abide by them. These Terms are available in the online shop at all times.

1.5. The Seller has the right to amend these Terms. An order is governed by the version of the Terms in force at the time the order was placed.

2. Goods and product information

2.1. The online shop sells lighting, curtains and other textiles, rugs, kitchen, bathroom and home accessories, interior and decorative items, and other goods listed in the shop.

2.2. The characteristics of each product are set out in its product description. The Seller endeavours to ensure that this information is accurate and complete but shall not be liable for insignificant inaccuracies or for changes made by the manufacturer without prior notice.

2.3. Product photographs are for illustrative purposes only. Owing to screen settings, the actual colour, shade or texture of a product may differ slightly from that shown in the photograph.

2.4. Some products are handmade or incorporate elements of hand-blown glass, crystal, ceramic, natural wood or natural fabrics. In such products, natural variations in shade, dimensions, pattern, air bubbles or texture are a characteristic of the material and the manufacturing technique and do not constitute a defect.

2.5. Product dimensions are given in centimetres and weight in kilograms, unless otherwise stated in the product description.

3. Placing an order and conclusion of the contract

3.1. The Buyer selects the goods, adds them to the shopping basket, enters the delivery and billing details, chooses the delivery and payment methods and confirms the order.

3.2. Before confirming the order, the Buyer can review all order details and the final amount and correct any errors.

3.3. The contract of sale shall be deemed concluded from the moment the Buyer confirms the order and the Seller sends an order confirmation to the email address provided by the Buyer. The contract remains in force until the parties have fully performed their obligations.

3.4. If the order confirmation email does not reach the Buyer within 24 hours, the Buyer should check the junk mail folder and, if the email is not there, contact the Seller.

3.5. The Seller has the right to withdraw from a concluded contract and refund the amounts paid if the product is no longer available, if an obvious error in the price or product description comes to light, or if the order has evidently been placed for fraudulent purposes. The Buyer shall be informed of this without delay.

4. Prices and payment

4.1. All product prices in the online shop are stated in euros, inclusive of value added tax (VAT).

4.2. The delivery charge is shown separately on the checkout page before the order is confirmed and depends on the chosen delivery method and the order value. The final amount payable is always displayed before payment.

4.3. The Seller may change product prices. The price applicable to an order is the price stated at the time the order was confirmed.

4.4. Payment may be made by the methods specified in the online shop: by payment card, by electronic means of payment, via a bank link or by bank transfer against an invoice issued by the Seller. The specific list of available methods is shown on the checkout page.

4.5. No additional fee is charged for the payment method chosen.

4.6. Processing of the order begins once payment for the goods and delivery has been received. Where payment is made by bank transfer against an invoice, the goods are reserved for 3 working days; if payment is not received within this period, the order may be cancelled.

4.7. The Seller issues the invoice electronically to the email address provided by the Buyer. Legal entities must provide the company name, company code and, where applicable, VAT number when placing the order.

5. Delivery of goods

5.1. Goods are delivered within the territory of the Republic of Lithuania by courier or to a parcel locker; free pickup from the showroom is also available. Delivery to other Member States of the European Union is possible by separate agreement; the terms and price are agreed individually.

5.2. When placing the order, the Buyer shall provide the exact delivery address and a contact telephone number. The Seller shall not be liable for any delay in delivery or failure to deliver the goods if the Buyer has provided inaccurate details or could not be reached at the agreed time.

5.3. Delivery times:

  • Goods in stock – usually within 1–5 working days of receipt of payment.
  • Goods ordered from the manufacturer – usually within 2–3 weeks. The specific delivery time is stated in the product description.
  • Custom-made goods (made-to-measure curtains, fabrics cut to measure, curtain rail systems, bespoke solutions) – the delivery time is agreed separately.

5.4. The stated delivery times are indicative and run from the day on which payment is received. If delivery of the goods is delayed owing to circumstances beyond the Seller's control (delays on the part of the manufacturer, transport delays or force majeure), the Seller shall inform the Buyer without delay and agree a new delivery date. If the new date is not acceptable to the Buyer, the Buyer has the right to cancel the order and obtain a refund of the amounts paid.

5.5. When taking delivery of the goods, the Buyer (or the Buyer's representative) must check the condition of the packaging. If the packaging is damaged, the Buyer must note this on the document presented by the courier or on the delivery note and inform the Seller without delay, and in any event within 1 working day at the latest, providing photographs of the damage. Where the packaging is accepted without comment, the goods shall be deemed to have been handed over free of external damage.

5.6. The risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods passes to the Buyer at the moment the goods are physically handed over by the Seller or the carrier to the Buyer or to a person designated by the Buyer (other than the carrier).

5.7. Goods may be collected from the showroom during opening hours at Verkių g. 44, Unideco shopping centre, 2nd floor, Vilnius. The Seller shall notify the Buyer when the order is ready for collection. If the goods are not collected within 14 calendar days of the notification, the Seller may agree an additional storage period with the Buyer or cancel the order and refund the amounts paid.

6. Quality of goods and guarantee

6.1. All goods are covered by a quality guarantee provided by the manufacturer or the Seller. For consumers, the guarantee period is no shorter than 2 years from the day on which the goods are handed over, as provided for in the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania. For legal entities, the guarantee period specified by the manufacturer applies.

6.2. The guarantee does not apply where the goods have broken down or been damaged as a result of:

  • improper use contrary to the product instructions or its intended purpose;
  • improper installation or electrical installation work carried out by a person who is not a qualified specialist (light fittings must be installed by a qualified electrician);
  • fair wear and tear, including wear of light sources (bulbs);
  • mechanical damage occurring after acceptance of the goods;
  • exposure to liquids, moisture, chemical products used other than as intended, or mains voltage fluctuations;
  • repairs or modifications to the goods carried out independently by the Buyer or third parties.

6.3. Natural properties of materials. For goods made of handmade glass, crystal, ceramics, natural wood, patinated metal and natural fabrics, minor variations in shade, transparency, dimensions, pattern, air bubbles and texture between individual items or in comparison with the photograph are not considered a quality defect. For the same reason, a batch of the same product ordered at a later date may differ slightly from one purchased earlier.

6.4. On discovering a quality defect, the Buyer shall contact the Seller by email at info@ideadesign.lt, stating the order number, describing the defect and providing photographs. The Seller shall respond within 14 calendar days.

6.5. Where a quality defect is established, the Buyer has the right, at the Buyer's option, to require the goods to be replaced with goods of proper quality, the defect to be remedied free of charge or the price to be reduced proportionately, or to terminate the contract unilaterally and claim a refund of the amount paid. Where defective goods are returned, the cost of returning them shall be borne by the Seller.

7. Right of withdrawal

7.1. A Buyer who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 calendar days of the day on which the goods are received. The detailed procedure, conditions and exceptions are set out in the Returns Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

7.2. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made individually to the Buyer's specifications or clearly personalised for the Buyer, or in the other cases specified in the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania and the Retail Trade Rules. These exceptions are listed in the Returns Policy.

8. Rights and obligations of the Buyer

8.1. The Buyer has the right to purchase goods, to withdraw from the contract and to return goods in accordance with the procedure laid down in these Terms and the Returns Policy, and to exercise their rights as a data subject.

8.2. The Buyer must pay for the goods and their delivery, accept the goods ordered, provide accurate information and comply with these Terms and the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.

8.3. The Buyer must keep their account login details safe and must not disclose them to third parties. The Buyer is responsible for any actions taken using their account.

9. Rights and obligations of the Seller

9.1. The Seller undertakes to enable the use of the online shop, to deliver the goods ordered, to provide the information required by law and to ensure the protection of personal data.

9.2. The Seller has the right to suspend the operation of the online shop temporarily or completely for technical or other reasons without giving prior notice.

9.3. The Seller has the right, without prior notice, to restrict or revoke the Buyer's access to the shop if the Buyer breaches these Terms or the law.

9.4. In the event of force majeure, the Seller may terminate the contract, in which case the amounts paid shall be refunded to the Buyer.

10. Liability

10.1. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided when placing an order and is liable for any damage resulting from inaccurate information.

10.2. The Seller is not responsible for information provided on the websites of other companies, even if the online shop contains links to them.

10.3. The Seller shall not be liable if, owing to the characteristics of the screen used by the Buyer, the colour, shape or other parameters of a product do not correspond to its actual size, shape and colour.

10.4. The parties shall be released from liability if their obligations are not fulfilled owing to force majeure.

11. Marketing activities

11.1. The Seller may run promotions and special offers and may unilaterally change their terms or cancel them. Any such change or cancellation applies prospectively and does not affect orders already placed.

11.2. The Seller sends newsletters and offers only after obtaining the Buyer's consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Provision of information

12.1. The Seller sends notices to the email address or telephone number provided by the Buyer when placing the order.

12.2. The Buyer shall send all notices, complaints and enquiries by email to info@ideadesign.lt, by telephone on +370 620 37022 or by post to Verkių g. 44, Unideco shopping centre, 2nd floor, LT-09109 Vilnius.

13. Final provisions

13.1. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania.

13.2. All disputes shall first be settled by negotiation. The Buyer shall submit a complaint in writing by email to info@ideadesign.lt; the Seller shall respond within 14 calendar days at the latest.

13.3. If a dispute cannot be settled, the consumer has the right to apply to the institution responsible for the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes:

State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba)

13.4. Disputes that cannot be settled out of court shall be resolved by the courts of the Republic of Lithuania in accordance with the procedure established by law.
